While her good friend Charlie Yeung Choi-nei was down the road doing good for a charity event, Gigi Leung Wing-kei (pictured) was up on Ice House Street, doing her part as the celebrity ambassador for Blancpain to celebrate their new L-evolution timepiece collection. 'I have more than 20 watches at home. I never go out without one and it's always the first accessory I think of putting on when I leave the house.' It's not just about keeping time, but being on time. She even keeps her watches five to 10 minutes early so 'I will always be early and never late ... I don't like to wait for others and I wouldn't want others to wait for me.'

Of course, there are exceptions, when you're a jet-setting star. 'There was one time when I came back from somewhere an hour behind Hong Kong time and I forgot to adjust my watch once I got back. I only discovered it when my friend started texting me, wondering what happened to me since I was an hour late.'

Was the person annoyed? 'Well, not if it was someone worth waiting for.'
