Santas meet about swine flu
Stories compiled by staff reporter
Men working as Santa Claus in United States malls want swine flu shots. A group of Santa Claus workers recently held a meeting.
The group's leader asked parents to keep sick children away from the Santas. He said parents should not let their children infect Santa. He said sick Santas could pass flu on to the children.
The Santas are worried about swine flu because of a new study. The study said overweight people could get severe cases of swine flu. Two-thirds of Santas in the US are overweight. A further 200 Santas who visit sick children during the holiday will wash their Santa suits every day.
