Mainland trumpets vegetable quality

No vegetables with excessive pesticides had been detected in exports from the mainland to Hong Kong for 14 consecutive years, Xinhua quoted an official of the Shenzhen Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau as saying. Some 99.4 per cent of 3,811 samples inspected in the first 10 months of the year had met safety standards, the official said.
