Strong success with new cancer treatment

A new form of treatment for nasopharyngeal cancer using chemotherapy and radiotherapy shows it regressing by four months in 98 per cent of the patients. The finding was the result of a study conducted for more than 10 years by the Hong Kong Nasopharyngeal Cancer Study Group. Close to 1,000 new cases of the cancer are diagnosed every year.
