Wanted: 12 hot hunks with a sense of humour and fun to go under the hammer

Liz Murrihy of the Women's Forum is on the prowl for men again. The social and business networking group is set to organise another of its popular bachelor auctions for spring and Murrihy is lining up hot hunks. However, she's not looking for self-promoting guys to apply directly. Instead, she prefers the chosen few to be referrals from other women.

'I always prefer word of mouth and having personal recommendations to find suitable candidates for this fun event,' she said. 'We will be looking for 12 bachelors to participate. Interviews will commence in March, so please keep your eyes peeled. It's a great excuse to start talking to all the hot men you meet with a view to inviting them to line up for an interview.'

This year, each bachelor package will include a different activity, whether it's a spa treatment, helicopter ride, yacht cruise, day of golf, tennis or dancing. Anyway, here are some of the general criteria they're seeking: age 25 or older, financially secure, stylish, physically fit and healthy, a good personality, a sense of humour and fun. 'If I have to talk them into it, they are not the right person,' she added. 'And he can make conversation - not important if they look hot. Kidding.'
