Teens arrested on drugs tip-off

Two boys have been arrested and 180 grams of an illicit drug seized following a tip-off. The teens, aged 16 and 17, were arrested in Sham Shui Po on Tuesday night. The drugs, believed to be ketamine, are said to be worth about HK$20,000.

Daughter hit with mooncake tin

A 40-year-old man has been arrested for beating his 12-year-old daughter with a metal mooncake tin at their home in Yuen Long. The alleged assault happened when the pair argued over noise around 3am. The girl was treated for minor injuries.

Two injured in road accidents

An 82-year-old man was knocked down by a KMB bus in Yau Ma Tei and a woman, 33, sustained minor injuries when the cab she was in collided with another in Kowloon city. Both were taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Merchandiser arrested over graft

A former merchandiser for a US chain store has been charged for allegedly taking bribes and falsifying documents, the Independent Commission Against Corruption said. He was bailed and will appear in Kwun Tong Court tomorrow.

Faeces found in Sha Tin pool

A swimming pool at the Sha Tin Jockey Club was closed last night for cleaning and disinfection after faeces were found in the outdoor heated pool, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department said. It will reopen at 6.30am today.
