Wong named China coach

Four-time Hong Kong champion Wong Wai-hang (pictured) has been named China national team coach as the mainlanders prepare for the Asian Games in Guangzhou in November. The 32-year-old member of the Hong Kong team that won gold at the East Asian Games, will start his first coaching job in Shanghai next week. 'Wong has been a key member of the Hong Kong team for a long period and we are happy he has landed a coaching job,' Hong Kong coach Tony Choi Yuk-kwan said.
