Hong Kong's Tie Yana and Jiang Huajun finished impressively in the Pro Tour Grand Finals, clinching a silver medal in Macau yesterday. They lost to Ding Ning and Liu Shiwen of China 4-1 (11-4, 6-11, 11-8, 15-13, 11-5) in the final. 'The fourth game was crucial as they just could not hang in there and lost after deuce,' said coach Li Huifen. In the men's doubles final, Germany's Timo Boll and Christian Suss defeated Gao Ning and Yang Zi, of Singapore, 11-6, 11-9, 11-4, 5-11, 11-5.
