Delighted Tsui shines on the dirt

Trainer Me Tsui Yu-sak proved the punter's pal, producing the well-supported favourite Mighty Sun for a dominant victory in the Chow Tai Fook Perfect Heart Collection Handicap (1,800m). Mighty Sun started the $52 favourite after solid backing throughout in the all-weather track event and the trainer was more than pleased with the result, despite hoping that it may have been even sweeter. 'The draw helped Mighty Sun a lot today, and was definitely the key to his win,' Tsui said. 'The apprentice rider [Kevin Leung Ka-wai] doesn't have enough experience to ride the same race from a wide draw. My other runner My Whisky would also have finished in the placings if he had not burned along at the front early with Floral Picasso, but it was still a good effort from Mighty Sun.' My Whisky drove to the lead, but was pestered by Floral Picasso in the early stages and tired late to finish a respectable fifth, just three and a half lengths behind his stablemate.
