Qurahtulain, 19, Youth College

The talent to bring happiness to those around me. I have always had people with problems coming to me and asking for solutions. But all I could do was listen. I was unable to solve their problems so I hope I will be able to change that.

Jade Lam, 12, Maryknoll Convent School

I'd like to be a good public speaker. I believe I am an innovative, determined and hard-working person. But I lack fluency and confidence when speaking in front of a large audience. If I were talented in public speaking, I could join the school debating team.

Walter Mak Kiu-shun, 15, Ma On Shan St Joseph's Secondary School

I'd like to be a fluent speaker in both Cantonese and English. At the moment, I alternate between the two languages quite often and this is not a good habit. If I have good speaking skills, I think my peers will respect me more and I will be able to make more friends.

Amy Lau Yeung-yeung, 16, Diocesan Girls' School

It would be great if I could fly. Just imagine soaring into the sky and gliding smoothly across the sea, having a bird's-eye view of our planet all the time. I could then drown myself in nature and forget about the sorrows of our world.

Sheren Ku, 16, St Mary's Canossian College

It would be awesome to have the talent to heal people's souls. I wish I could have a magic wand to bring relief to people who are facing many challenges in life. Then this world would be a much better place.

Jacky Chow Cheuk-ki, 14, Carmel Secondary School

I would like to stay awake 24 hours a day. If I didn't have to sleep anymore, I could get so many things done. The downside is there would be no more dreams, but then I wouldn't need to worry about having my eight hours to get ready for the next day.

Jennifer Chan Quian-ying, 15, Marymount Secondary School

I want to be a literary giant like Dickens, Austen or Tolstoy. They all have one common attribute: their words have shaped the way we think today. I would use my writing skills for the good of mankind like all the famous authors have done.

Dorothy Yim, 14, St Paul's Convent School

I'd choose to be a talented guitarist. My dream is to become a music therapist, and for that to happen, I have to improve my guitar skills. Then I would be able to heal people from all walks of life who are suffering from various problems. With my guitar, I can share the joy of music with everyone, especially on festive occasions like Christmas and New Year.

Kelvin Yu Chun-yin, 12, Sing Yin Secondary School

I wish I could magically change junk food into a delicious, healthy meal. Nowadays, we care a lot about our health and junk food is bad for us. But things like hamburgers and French fries are so tasty we simply cannot resist the temptation. With my special powers, I would be able to enjoy junk food without worrying about my health.

Alex Ko, 15, Po Leung Kuk No.1 W.H. Cheung College

Self-acceptance, which is a talent. These days, people are worried about their shortcomings and hope to be as perfect as they can be. Thus, they lose their way. By accepting my weaknesses, I'd be able to appreciate myself and face up to reality.

Emma Tsoi, 13, Diocesan Girls' School

Without a doubt, it's the 'gift' to vanish into thin air. As you all know, humans cannot become invisible. So I would become a unique individual, with the power to disappear when my parents or teachers are about to scold me.
