With spring and summer on the rearing their heads, it's time to check out refreshing scents for the new season. Fragrances with bergamot, grapefruit and lemon are particularly zesty and refreshing.

Police Pure DNA Homme EDT (HK$396/100ml) 7/10

The refreshing lemony scent comes in a cool black bottle that looks like a police badge. It's a fairly strong smell, most suitable for sophisticated, confident guys.

Ed Hardy by Christian Audigier Love & Luck For Men EDT (HK$498/100ml) 9/10

The bottle is adorned with the kind of pictures and wording Audigier has become famous for. The first notes are orange and lemon, then traces of violet become apparent. A scent for those who want to impress modestly.

Marina Yachting Eau de Toilette Spray (HK$315/100ml) 8/10

A versatile scent suitable for a wide range of occasions, from casual daily use to formal dinners, and even after sports. Bergamot gives the light, but long-lasting scent a clean and elegant edge.

Jaguar Prestige Spirit EDT Spray (HK$498/100ml) 6/10

Like the classic car, this bottle has a simple, stylish design. The fragrance is unexpectedly fresh, but possibly sweeter than the bottle suggests. Some might find it overwhelming.

Manchester United Red EDT (HK$388/100ml) 8/10

An instantly refreshing blend of bergamot, rosemary, lemon and mint, this is extremely energising first thing in the morning. A great gift for die-hard fans.
