What: The Australia Day fete was hosted by Consul General Les Luck and attended by more than 300 dignitaries, including Chief Secretary Henry Tang Ying-yen.

Who: Toasting the day were Sir David Akers-Jones, Victor Li Tzar-kuoi, PLA vice-commander in Hong Kong, Major-General Wang Junli, Anna Wu Hung-yuk, Ronald Arculli, legislator Chim Pui-chung and Austrade senior trade commissioner Phil Ingram.
