Music giant sues Neway over copyright

Warner Music is seeking damages for copyright infringement from Neway Karaoke Box, which runs 23 karaoke bars in Hong Kong. It is seeking an interim injunction to stop Neway playing its songs until the case is resolved. The alleged infringements involve English and Chinese songs by local, Taiwanese and overseas singers.
