Woman jailed for using sister's ID card

A woman was sentenced to two months in jail for using her younger sister's identity card to visit her own boyfriend who was remanded in Lai Chi Kok Detention Centre, Kowloon City Court heard yesterday. Venus So Ka-wai, 20, had pleaded guilty before principal magistrate Andrew Ma Hon-cheung, who said in sentencing that the offence was serious even though So had indicated that she was ignorant of the law.
