movie: Paranormal Activity is moderately scary and fun to watch, especially in the cinema.

book: Toni Morrison's Sula. Outdated but still grabs me every time.

gadget: Fujitsu's Lifebook Series laptops. They have a neat display, and the best keyboard of any laptop.

movie: Whip It stars Ellen Page as a girl from a small town who trades her beauty pageant tiara for roller derby skates. Directed by Drew Barrymore.

book: The Traitors' Gate by Avi. A great book with some history that'll impress both parents and teachers, but keep you interested at the same time.

gadget: Selphy Compact Photo Printer. Just insert your camera memory stick and you can print your photos with bright colourful borders. Awesome.

cd: Cheryl Cole's 3 Words. The X Factor judge/ Girls Aloud member's debut solo features singles, Fight For This Love and the title track with will.i.am.

dvd: 2012. Bring the epic phenomenon onto your screen and see the groundbreaking visuals at home.
