Help for schools with Dickens classic
The Absolutely Fabulous Theatre Connection in collaboration with Eduarts Classic Theatre presents its educational play of the year, Charles Dickens' Great Expectations.
After the success of Bram Stocker's Dracula last year, the number of performances has been boosted to five.
They are still seats available for March 23, 10.15am, at the Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre Theatre.
The performance is part of a larger educational programme called 'From Page to Stage'. The concept is to help students develop reading, writing and critical thinking skills by examining one classic play.
Teachers will get an education pack before the show to use in class as an NSS language art drama module. After the play, students can talk with the actors about the play's themes: social issues, guilt, love and hope.
Tickets for students and teachers cost HK$60. This performance is for school groups only.
