This week we test: women's fragrances

As the weather gets warmer, you need a lighter, punchier scent to counteract the humidity. Look for zesty citrus and spicy ginger notes. All available from SaSa

Swiss Army Mountain Water For Her (HK$392/100ml)

This is just perfect for girls who are not into Hello Kitty, Mickey Mouse or anything frou frou. Clean, fresh and modelled on the successful Swiss Army Mountain Water for men, this scent is light and lovely.

Armand Basi In Red (HK$396/50ml)

Although the bold and funky red packaging suggests spiciness, this is actually a fairly mellow, woody scent with a hint of jasmine and ginger. Lasts quite a while, but pricy.

Alviero Martini Donna (HK$488/100ml)

Initial scents of lime and ginger give way to jasmine and peony, finishing with a musky cedar note. The bottle design and refreshing scent will have you craving a glass of lemonade.

Dsquared2 She Wood Velvet Forest Wood (HK$450/30ml)

If you prefer a richer scent of the sort normally reserved for men, give this a shot. Earthy smells of wood, moss and fern combine to create a powerful yet still feminine perfume.

J Del Pozo Halloween Kiss Sexy (HK$404/100ml)

Fruity top notes of lemon, peach and green apple combine with middle floral notes like freesia, and musk and sandalwood at the base. Requires frequent re-application.
