Scheduled for a soft opening in May, L'hotel Island South is on the lookout for a high-calibre professional to look after the needs of its guests.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills along with a personable disposition are required as there will be a lot of interaction with guests. 'The guest services manager is a vital position as he/she will represent the hotel in establishing a strong connection with guests,' says Winnie Woo, resident manager at L'hotel Island South.
Although the position is not the same as a duty manager, who only handles complaints, sound decision-making skills and the ability to work under pressure are a must. And to ensure each guest's experience at the hotel is an enjoyable and memorable one, an attentive, can-do service-oriented and friendly attitude are also important.
Candidates educated in hotel management at a diploma level and above are invited to apply. Fluency in English and Putonghua, and experience in hotel rooms operations is preferred.
L'hotel Island South is the latest contemporary and chic hotel developed by The Chinachem Group of Hong Kong. It is strategically positioned in Aberdeen next to one of Hong Kong's most popular tourist attractions - Ocean Park.
