After last year's Chronoscope MV Agusta Brutale Nera, JeanRichard follows up with another strong tribute to its collaboration with motorcycle manufacturer MV Agusta, as its bike team tries to break the Bonneville Salt Flats speed trial record later this year.

The Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah provide ideal conditions for racing and is the venue for several race car and motorcycle events every year. As Team MV Agusta competes to break the US Bonneville Salt Flats speed record, JeanRichard, its partner since 2007, pays tribute to the attempt with the new Chronoscope MV Agusta Brutale America.

Limited to only 290 pieces, the watch, like the Brutale Nera, takes on many design elements from the motorcycles. The dial resembles a wheel rim and the raised chronograph counters are inspired by the motorcycle's dashboard.

Other interesting elements include the opaline powdered effect stamped dial that brings to mind the look and texture of the Bonneville Salt Flats, and the small seconds dial at three o'clock, which features a rotating disc with a cursor pointing at Arabic numerals instead of the conventional small hand.

The materials of the watch were also chosen with racing aesthetics in mind. The steel case is covered in vulcanised rubber, while the bezel, pushers and caseback are in black PVD-coated titanium. The pushers have been designed to curve with the case, ensuring maximum comfort for the wearer.

In addition to the Brutale America, JeanRichard stays true to its sporty reputation with the launch of two new diver's watches this year - the Aquascope and the Diverscope.

The Aquascope, fitted with the brand's JR1000 movement developed and produced in-house, is a reinterpretation of the old diver's models created by JeanRichard during the 1960s.
