Hong Kong's Choi Ki-ho took the red polka dot jersey of the king of the mountain after winning the two final climbs in the 157-kilometre fifth stage of the Tour de Taiwan in Miaoli yesterday. The Hong Kong team of Choi, Wong Kam-po, Cheung King-wai and Wu Kin-san attacked repeatedly in the tour's longest stage and maintained the overall lead. David McCann of the Giant Asia Racing team shrugged off two crashes to keep his yellow jersey, while Rapha Condor's Dean Downing took the stage in three hours, 49 minutes and 34 seconds.
