Chippendales give ladies a sneak peek of what's on offer

St Patrick's night was especially rowdy at Finds. Women let their hair down and guys took off their clothes - and it wasn't due to excessive consumption of green beer. The famous male stripping team Chippendales offered a sneak preview of their Ultimate Girls Night Out show tonight and tomorrow at the Sands Macao. Their not-so-secret appearance has been the buzz of nightlife blogs and websites this week and the LKF Tower club was bursting at the seams with ladies seeking a glimpse of the hunky dancers.

They weren't disappointed, either. Well, some were. Originally, only three guys were supposed to flash some flesh at Finds. But on the day, all 10 dancers came to Hong Kong and appeared in the three-song set. However, their costumes hadn't arrived so the guys simply danced in their street clothes and, more disappointingly, only took off their tops. They did sing two songs (and lip-synched another) and pulled a woman on stage, with two topless Chippendales pretending to vie for her attention.

Our pity, though, goes to organiser Nick Willsher. 'I had to go on stage a few times, but always had to shout that I was not one of them,' he said. 'I had a lot of double takes by ladies, but it looked like disappointment once they realised I wasn't buff, so couldn't be one of them.'

If you want to see the studs perform their full show, some tickets for tonight are apparently still available. Saturday is completely sold out. Try HK Ticketing, Tom Lee Music or www.CotaiTicketing.com.
