If you feed your shopping addiction this weekend, at least let it contribute to a worthy cause. Hong Kong Dog Rescue's (HKDR) search for a new facility is well documented as it has to vacate its Pok Fu Lam shelter while founder Sally Andersen looks for a new refuge.

A group of society gals have put their last-season clothes and accessories on sale for the HKDR with the stock being sold over two weekends. Last week's new or barely-used dresses, coats, shoes, handbags and accessories managed to raise HK$240,000 and they're hoping to do even better today and tomorrow at Melbourne Plaza's Shop 118 in Central.

Organised by Christine Chung, we're told the prices are ridiculously low for labels like Chanel, Gucci and Stella McCartney. The hours are from 11am to 7pm.
