PARENTS, schools and school social workers should work together to help young people cope with problems in studying and adjustment, said Deputy Director of Education Robert C. H. Lo.

He was speaking at the 25th anniversary and open day celebrations of Concordia Lutheran School - North Point.

Stressing the importance of co-operation between school and family, Mr Lo said the Education Department had published a series of pamphlets suggesting ways of strengthening ties between parents and schools.

Mr Lo congratulated the school for its success in joint school programmes with the Hong Kong Japanese School and the Chinese International School to broaden students' experiences.

The anniversary programme began with a thanksgiving service conducted by Dr Benjamin Chung, president of the Lutheran Church-Hong Kong Synod.

The open day exhibition featured displays of students' work, models and a hands-on look at computer and laboratory exhibits.
