South China maintained their position at the top of the BMA First Division when they came from behind to defeat Pegasus 3-2 in an ill-tempered match at Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground yesterday. Tales Schutz scored a hat-trick in the second half to give the champions a hard-earned victory after Pegasus established a two-goal lead by the break. Two South China and one Pegasus player were sent off in the second half and players and officials argued at the final whistle. In the other match of the day, Tai Po were held to a goalless draw by Sha Tin.
