A 57-year-old man was thought to have injured his lover before plunging to his death from a block of flats in Shau Kei Wan yesterday. The woman, 50, was in critical condition in Eastern Hospital last night. The man was found to have jumped from the Nam Hong Street building just before 11.30pm. He was declared dead at the scene. His lover lost consciousness in the ground-floor lobby after she emerged from a lift. A security guard called police. The woman suffered head injuries and was taken unconscious to hospital.
