More temple termites means more money

The Hung Shing Temple in Ping Shan, Yuen Long, has been closed for emergency repairs after termites were found eating more wooden beams supporting the grade-two historic building. Villagers obtained a HK$1 million repair grant, the maximum amount allowed, from the government to fix a beam but it was recently found more beams had been damaged. They say the grant is inadequate.
