Security guard admits false accusation

A security guard admitted he falsely accused four customs officers of accepting bribes because they had previously caught him smuggling cigarettes into Hong Kong. Ip Ming-yiu, 53, pleaded guilty to knowingly making a false report to the Independent Commission Against Corruption. Acting Principal Magistrate Bina Chainrai adjourned sentencing to April 21.
