Probe after civil service exam answers read out on air

Two thirds of the way through the Jilin province civil service exam, a muffled female voice began clearly enunciating a string of question numbers and figures to the astonishment of exam-takers and supervisors. School administrators rushed to cut off the radio system when they realised the voice was coming from the school's campus radio station and could have been an attempt to dictate exam answers. Chinajilin.com.cn, a provincial government news portal, blamed unidentified external hijacking of the campus broadcast system for the bizarre interruption at a Tonghua middle school on March 27. Initial analysis said the disruption, which lasted up to three minutes, came from an unidentified radio signal. The the incident has once again raised concerns over the credibility of the country's civil service exam regime, which has been tainted by scandals. A civil service job is highly regarded on the mainland for its life-long job security and good pay.
