Trainer Dennis Yip Chor-hong landed his first winner at Sha Tin since the New Year's Day meeting on January 1 when Lucky Photo Frame saluted in the Wangfujing Handicap (1,400m). Yip said he was lucky to get the horse into the field after Lucky Photo Frame was made a reserve starter when the fields were announced earlier in the week. 'After his last start we had planned to target this race, but then he was made a standby starter and we thought we would have to wait for another day,' Yip said. 'We were lucky that he got promoted and that he has run his best race.' Lucky Photo Frame kicked clear in the straight under the guidance of Howard Cheng Yue-tin to land a one-and-a-half-length win over Elite Fortune, with Lucky Nistelrooy finishing third. It was a result which knocked most players out of the Triple Trio, which will carry a jackpot of HK$31 million next week.
