HK$11.4m for drought relief

Hong Kong added HK$11.4 million yesterday to relief grants to help people affected by the worst drought in a century in the nation's southwest, bringing the total to HK$135.6 million. The grants, from the Disaster Relief Fund, will go to the Salvation Army, the Amity Foundation and the Association of Chinese Evangelical Ministry to provide relief to drought victims in the provinces of Guangxi , Guizhou and Yunnan .
