Travel host comes to the city to promote series
Television travel programme host Ian Wright is coming to town to meet local fans this month.
The host of the acclaimed Globe Trekker series will be in Hong Kong on April 25 to promote his new series, Ian Wright: Out of Bounds.
Fans will have the chance to engage in the witty dialogue which Wright is famous for, and ask about his adventures around the world. A 10-minute preview of his new series will be shown.
In the Discovery Travel & Living show, the Englishman will bring audiences to earth's most remote places, including the icy wasteland of Siberia, deserts in Syria, enigmatic Cuba and forbidden military zones in Okinawa, Japan.
Before appearing on television, Wright spent three months in Guyana as part of Operation Raleigh, which provides overseas expeditions and volunteering opportunities. He also travelled extensively through Egypt, India, Venezuela, Lebanon and Romania.
If you'd like to interview Ian Wright, here's your chance. Young Post has been invited to bring six Junior Reporters to cover the event.
