Three Cathay Pacific flight attendants will launch an appeal to overturn a ruling excluding certain allowances in the calculation of their holiday pay because they are not wages. The Court of Appeal yesterday granted Becky Kwan Siu-wa, Vera Wu Yee-mei and Jenny Ho Kit-man leave to appeal. Mr Justice Peter Cheung Chak-yau said the reason was that the issue was of great general public interest.
