American Idol-style bash for the chance to meet Kelly Clarkson ... and a free US trip

It's going to be a night of live karaoke at Finds tonight. With American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson (pictured) scheduled to return to the region and perform at the Venetian's CotaiArena in Macau on May 8, television stations Channel V and Star World are throwing an Idol-style bash at the Central restaurant. Thirty contestants will perform songs by Clarkson and then be judged by a three-person panel comprising singer Louie Castro, television executive Edward Bean and Finds' owner Colette Koo. We're not certain who gets to be nasty like Simon Cowell, or for that matter, like Ellen DeGeneres.

Anyway, the night's winner will not only get to see Clarkson in Macau, they'll get to meet her and spend a night at the Venetian Macao. Plus, they'll get a round-trip American Airline ticket to any US city and a Technomarine watch.
