Twenty-eight Apple iPads on a mainland-bound truck were among smuggled goods worth HK$1.7 million customs officers seized this week. The officers stopped the truck at Lok Ma Chau border checkpoint on Tuesday. Its driver, 43, was arrested, and has been released on bail. The other seized products included computers, digital cameras and mobile phone motherboards. Customs is investigating the source of the goods that were seized.
