Here's your chance to design a special logo for Google. The search engine is looking for ideas to pep up its website in the run-up to the World Cup finals.

The Doodle 4 Google competition invites youngsters aged four to 17 to create an image that shows their love of soccer. Judges will shortlist the top 10 designs for a public vote. The winning design will be displayed on the Google Hong Kong homepage for 24 hours.

The winner will also have the chance to join a world final. The ultimate winner will see their design displayed to billions of people at the World Cup finals on July 11. Google says works will be judged on artistic merit, creativity and how well contestants express their love of soccer in the title and supporting statement.

The deadline is May 3.
