HK 5s biggest of its kind in Asia

The youngest player at the Mega Ice Hockey 5s, which starts today with the youth tournament at MegaBox in Kowloon Bay, is just five years old, and the oldest is 55. The youth finals will be held on Saturday and the adult tournament will start next Tuesday, featuring the Tokyo Canadian Hockey Club, CCHA Warriors from Toronto and Beijing's Peng Han. The mainland will have 22 teams competing in the 73-strong line-up, with more than 1,200 players from around the world making the tournament the largest of its kind in Asia. The event ends on May 8.
