Hong Kong's Lee Chun-hei and Ng Ka-long have won a bronze medal in the boys' doubles at the world junior championships in Guadalajara, Mexico. Lee and Ng, both 16, defeated mostly 19-year-old opponents in the four earlier elimination rounds until they met Nelson Heg Wei Keat and Teo Ee Yi, of Malaysia, the joint third/fourth seeds, in the semi-finals, where the Malaysian pair won 17-21, 21-15, 21-11. Kim Astrup and Rasmus Fladberg, of Denmark, were the joint bronze medal winners after losing in the other semi-final.
