Assurance over supply to households

The government says Chevron, a liquefied petroleum gas supplier that will end service to households in August, will ensure a smooth transition to another company to maintain supply. More than 32,000 households, including 5,500 in Park Island at Ma Wan and 5,000 from Fairview Park in Yuen Long, will be affected by Chevron's decision to drop out of the market. Lawmakers fear the new supplier will increase prices.
