Of Movado's novelties at BaselWorld, the Red Label Museum Calendomatic stands out for its elegant, minimalist look.
Models in the Red Label collection are designed to cater to the mainland market and the Museum Calendomatic is no exception. The watch comes in either a red or gold version, colours known to be auspicious in Chinese culture.
The design is kept simple. The stainless steel 42mm case houses an automatic movement with the red 'M' rotor. The only features on the black dial are the hour and minute hands, the rotating date disc and the dot at 12 o'clock.
One version uses rhodium plating for the hands and the dot, and features a red date disc, along with a black alligator strap. The other uses pink gold plating for its crown, hands, dot and date disc, and comes with a brown alligator strap.
