Ray Chan, head of retail business for Greater China, BEA Union Investment Management

Chan is responsible for shaping retail sales and distribution strategy on the mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan. 'With his extensive experience in the retail investment business, we expect Chan to be a great asset to the team,' says Ilex Lam Ka-keung, CEO of BEA Union Investment. Previously, he was vice-president at Allianz Global Investors.

Erik Dierks, chief advancement officer, Hong Kong International School (HKIS)

Dierks will head HKIS' office of institutional advancement, which oversees the school's fundraising, communications, PR and alumni relations. He previously served as vice-president and chief development officer of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra in Canada. He has also had senior roles at the BC Cancer Foundation and the University of British Columbia.

Chris Taylor, senior regional director for Asean, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea, Polycom

Taylor will be responsible for guiding business strategy. He will lead sales, pre-sales technical support and channel management teams to deliver high definition telepresence, video, and voice customer services. 'Taylor's appointment reflects the strategic importance of the markets for Polycom,' says vice-president and managing director for Asia-Pacific Hansjoerg Wagner.
