A club run by a leading Hong Kong developer has set its sights on spreading happiness by encouraging people to smile.

Sun Hung Kai Properties' SHKP Club is promoting the 'Loving Home - Smile Campaign'. It begins with a story competition, and 250 prizes worth more than HK$200,000. Seminars on the benefits of being cheery will also be hosted by clinical psychologist Richard Lau Kai-cheung and social worker Kathy Wong.

'We hope the campaign will make our 290,000 members and Hong Kong people appreciate the power of smiling,' says club managing director Winnie Tse.
