The Sheraton in Tsim Sha Tsui will have a Maison Michel Picard Chassagne Montrachet wine dinner on May 26 at the Oyster & Wine Bar. The event, hosted by Michel Picard and Gabriel Picard, includes a seven-course dinner with dishes such as pan-seared scallops and Boston lobster, paired with Michel Picard Puligny Montrachet Premier Cru Blanc Les Chaumees 2007, and roasted Wagyu sirloin with the Chassagne Montrachet Rouge 2007 and Chassagne Montrachet Premier Cru Rouge Les Chaumees 2007. Amber restaurant at the Landmark Mandarin in Central has several wine dinners in the coming week. The seven-course E Guigal dinner on May 24 is HK$7,988 plus 10 per cent and includes Greffeuille lamb saddle with pimpiolet serpolet and confit shoulder, served with E Guigal La Landonne 1989 and La Mouline 1989, and Bernard Antony cheeses with the La Turque Cote Rotie 1991.
The Amber dinner on May 25 features the Californian wines of Screaming Eagle, Amuse Bouche and La Sirena. The six-course meal has dishes of brown morels with chicken 'oysters' paired with the Amuse Bouche Merlot 2003 and Iberian pork 'Judrus' sausage with warm potatoes and black winter truffle sausage with the Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon 1997. The dinner is HK$13,288 plus 10 per cent.

L'Eau at the Regal Riverside Hotel in Sha Tin is featuring a 'Sydney Fish Market' barbecue dinner buffet until the end of next month. Guests can start with a pan-fried Australian king prawn before heading to the buffet, which includes pan-fried skate wing (below), monkfish risotto and deep-fried mantis prawns, as well as non-seafood dishes such as roasted lamb leg and grilled beef tenderloin.
