Police called as media mob Kidman, Urban during well-timed visit

The number one rule in actress Nicole Kidman's marriage? 'Not being separated,' the 42-year-old Australian told a press conference in the Four Seasons hotel.

'My priority is keeping my family together and not being away from them.'

Kidman and her husband, country singer Keith Urban, were in town last week for a slew of promotional events for Omega.

Visiting Hong Kong for the first time together, the celebrity couple drove to The Peak soon after they landed on Wednesday night, and the next morning had 'the best dim sum I've ever had in my life', says Kidman.

Her 28-hour stay caused a stir. When she attended the opening of Omega's Manning House boutique in the afternoon, more than 100 reporters and photographers turned up, almost blocking the street outside the shop, prompting a call to police.

Kidman then headed to a charity dinner at the Four Seasons with about 200 of the city's A-list guests including Simon Yam Tat-wah and Qiqi Yam, to raise money for the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) programme, where she is a goodwill ambassador. At the dinner, her Grammy Award-winning husband sang six songs while playing acoustic guitar.

We heard Kidman's planning to visit Haiti with UNIFEM at the end of July to 'bring awareness to the earthquake survivors' - it's likely locals might also catch sight of Urban.
