Lifeguard saves teen from drowning

A 15-year-old was saved from drowning in a swimming pool in Victoria Park in Causeway Bay. He was with two friends in the 3-metre to 3.5-metre deep area of the main pool at 11.30am when a lifeguard saw he was in trouble. He was taken conscious to Ruttonjee Hospital and was in serious condition last night. There were 11 lifeguards on duty when the incident occurred.
