Gregory Roath Asia-Pacific head depositary receipts BNY Mellon

Based in Hong Kong, Roath previously headed the depositary receipts division in North Asia where he handled the region's relationship management and new business development teams. He joined the firm in New York in 1999, working in product management and Western European relationship management, and spent seven years in London.

Veronica Wong Vice-president AIA

Also named assistant general manager and head of partnership distribution, Wong will be responsible for the multi-channel distribution strategy in Hong Kong and Macau including brokerage and IFA services, bancassurance, high net worth and direct marketing. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Chinese University.

Mendy Chung Vice-president AIA

As head of bancassurance, Chung will develop and implement strategies in line with a planned strengthening of the company's position in non-agency distribution channels. She has 18 years of banking experience, having held senior marketing and management positions in the banking and financial services industry. Chung holds a degree in social science from the University of Hong Kong.

Paul Liu Partner, litigation and dispute resolution Wilkinson & Grist

Liu has focused his practice on commercial and banking litigation and corporate insolvency. He acts for international and local banks and for leading liquidators in major insolvency matters. He has also been involved in significant litigation cases in Hong Kong.

Cecilia Noronha Director loan syndicate and sales North Asia Citi

Noronha will work with the team to expand its loan syndication portfolio covering Korea and China. She was previously with BNP Paribas, where she was a director. Noronha has more than 15 years of experience across loan syndication, relationship management and risk management. Before BNP, she was with institutions such as Bank of America and HSBC.

Minggao Shen Head of research, China Citi

Shen will lead the China team across both fundamental and macroeconomic research. He was most recently Citi's chief economist for Greater China. He rejoined Citi after a short stint with Caijing magazine where he was its chief economist. Before that, Shen was Citi's senior economist for China from 2005 to 2008.

Julian Cheong Head of banking, Southeast Asia Royal Bank of Scotland

Cheong will be based in Singapore handling debt, equity and advisory products as well as overall coverage in the region. He brings with him 10 years of experience at Goldman Sachs. Before that Cheong also undertook senior roles in Singapore government departments and agencies, including the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

Dai Xiaobing Executive director Genesis Energy

Dai has extensive experience in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions of Chinese enterprises. He is also familiar with mainland capital markets. Dai has also worked as a reporter, news desk chief and deputy general manager in news publications. He is also the chief executive of China Precious Metal Resources and an independent director of Jiangxi Ganneng.

Peter Levesque Chief commercial officer Modern Terminals

Levesque takes overall accountability of group sales organisation, focusing on sales efforts and customer needs across business units. He has more than 20 years of transport and logistics experience and has been working in Asia since 1996. Before joining the group, he served as a senior vice-president with CEVA Logistics' Global Ocean Products and as a vice-president with DHL.

Shirley Pang General manager - supply chain Modern Terminals

Pang has more than 25 years of experience in the ocean, consolidation, transport and logistics industry. Before joining the group, she was a business development director at CEVA Logistics; after having held various sales and marketing management positions at Sea-Land and APL Logistics.

Gordon Ng Partner, corporate finance/capital markets O'Melveny & Myers

Ng has 17 years of experience guiding clients through corporate and financing deals in Hong Kong and China. He represents both companies and banks in listings and other financing matters, regulatory and compliance matters, and mergers and acquisitions. He is admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong, England and Wales and the District of Columbia.

Roger Peng Partner, Beijing Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker

Peng's practice focuses on complex mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital and commercial transactions, with a particular focus on the telecommunications, media and technology industries. He was formerly the managing partner of Hogan & Hartson's Beijing office.
