An inquest is to be held into the death of an inmate in Stanley Prison after he was found hanging in his cell yesterday. The 42-year-old man, admitted early this month after he was convicted of wounding with intent and sentenced to four years' jail, was found hanging from a torn bed sheet in his single-person cell at about 5.30am, the Correctional Services Department said. The prisoner was declared dead at Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital.
