Open minded

Maison Martin Margiela extends its line of quirky products with the release of three 'white' objects. Our favourite is this addition to its recent venture in homeware and furniture; Trompe-l'oeil door stickers. A series of black and white photos of Haussmann-style doors have been printed in real size on adhesive fabric, complete with bevelling and woodwork details. Stick one where you choose to fool your guests, or step through one to your favourite imaginary room. They come in three sizes. Watch the cheeky video presentation at www.maisonmartinmargiela.net

Parrot fashion

Parrot, the French firm specialising in wireless technology, has given its stereo speakers, Zikmu by Philippe Starck, a makeover: They now come in arctic white, pearl grey and sorbet lime, and the ultra-modern sculpted shape incorporates an even more intense and powerful sound thanks to a software update that includes a new browsing mode and an equaliser with music theme pre-settings. Parrot by Starck can be found at Lane Crawford stores, BO Acoustic, Universal audio & Video Centre, audio and visual and lifestyle stores for HK$13,800.

Wanders has it covered

Marcel Wanders has his fingers in many pies. The designer, who was in Hong Kong last month to mark his collaboration with Baccarat, has launched his own wallpaper for Graham & Brown. The Marcel Wanders Couture Collection features eight funky designs, and each comes in a variety of shades. The eye-catching patterns are printed on Graham & Brown's special clay-coat paper and feature a matte finish with metallic and gloss embellishments. For more visit www.grahambrown.com
