Forty years after his death, two of Bruce Lee's siblings reminisce about their famous brother's life and a legacy that is inspiring a whole new generation of fighters. Jo Baker reports.
In our report 'Couple jailed for six years after their baby starves to death' on page C1 on May 29, we stated that Mr Justice Peter Line criticised the Social Welfare Department for not conducting a home visit to a family where a newborn girl starved to death. We published some of the judge's observations on the case. We wish to clarify that the judge also said: 'It is tempting to be critical in a case like this of a system that allowed the death of this baby. ... However, it is a temptation to be resisted as this court does not have the right information and it is not equipped for the task and those involved are not here to speak: all this court can do is express the hope that those with the responsibility for these matters look hard at the facts of this sad case.'
