Griffiths Jnr in final interview for top job

Wayne Griffiths, the son of former world champion Terry Griffiths, is in town for the final round of interviews for the new post of head snooker coach at the Sports Institute. The Welshman is one of the two shortlisted candidates for the top job, which offers a maximum annual package of HK$1.4 million. The other aspirant is Joseph Lo Tsun-ying, the honorary secretary of the Hong Kong Billiard Sports Control Council. Both candidates were introduced to the Hong Kong team players and snooker venues yesterday before going through an interview.
