Firemen took four hours to douse a blaze at a recycling plant in Tin Shui Wai early yesterday morning. The Fire Services Department received a report about the blaze in Fung Kong Tsuen at 1.48am and upgraded it to a No3 fire at 2.45am. The blaze was extinguished at 5.38am after damaging an area 40 metres by 50 metres. About 100 firemen were involved in the operation. A large amount of discarded television sets and computers were destroyed in the fire. No one was injured and police found nothing suspicious.
